The State Maritime Agency under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan warns about changing weather conditions in the water area of the Caspian Sea.
According to the Ministry, according to the information received by the National Center for Recognition and Observation from the Far Distance, in the morning of May 5, on average Caspian, the North-West Wind is expected, the speed of which will reach 18-23 m / s, with impulses to 25 -28 m / s, day on the open sea – up to 30 m / s. The wave height in the sea will reach 2-3 m, as the wind gains – up to 4-6 meters.
Due to changes in the weather conditions, the captains of the courts, the port control inspectors will be instructed in connection with the implementation of the relevant measures. Information and instructions will be transferred to ships on anchor and in motion. In accordance with weather conditions, safe vessels will be provided in anchor shelters.
