US Secretary of State Anthony Biginen on behalf of his country sincerely congratulated the Turkish people on the 101st anniversary of the creation of the Turkish Republic.
“This day is an important milestone in the history of your country. We highly appreciate the progress achieved by the Turkish people over the past century,” the text of congratulations said.
Blinken noted that the friendship between the two countries, based on common values and mutual interests, has developed significantly for the 101-year period.
“NATO Alliance is the cornerstone of the regional world and security, and the United States are proud that they are an ally of Turkey in NATO for 72 years,” wrote Anthony Blinken.
An increasing number of students, specialists, participants in cultural and academic exchange and tourists make trips between the two countries, and this contributes to the exchange of experience and the creation of innovations, the diplomat is convinced.
Blinken said that partnership in the field of science, space and environmentally friendly energy technologies even more deepens the connections between Turkish and American peoples.
The head of the State Department again congratulated the Turkish people on this historical day, expressing the confidence that the peoples of the two countries will remain friendship and alliance in the next century for the good of the region and the world.
Blinken thanked Turkey for being a faithful ally and partner, and expressed hope for new successes and achievements in the country in the future.
