“We expect that these elections in Armenia will become some kind of consolidation of civil society, since the split in Armenian society is fraught with the consequences for the country.” This was stated by the head of the observer mission from the State Duma of Russia Victor Khololatsky, reports Sputnik Armenia.
Dudolatsky believes that if one of the parties does not accept the results of the CEC, the opposition and collision will begin again. And in such situations, national security suffers.
The head of the observer mission expressed the hope that the party that would lose the elections, common sense will still triumph and it will not allow people to go out into the streets. He is confident that no matter what this side will be, you need to sit at the table of negotiations and find decisions that will benefit residents of Armenia.
