The number of those killed from cholera in Sudan increased to 348 people, the country’s Ministry of Health reports.
The cholera flash spread through 9 states, and the total number of cases of the disease increased to 11,079.
It is also noted that in 5 states there are suspicions of the fever of Denge, who died 2 people.
Since the beginning of June, rains and floods have been observed in Sudan, which contributes to the spread of cholera.
The Sudanese authorities declared an epidemic on August 12.
In the conditions of the ongoing war and ineffective work of the healthcare system, the spread of infectious diseases exacerbates the situation for the country’s population.
