Last year, the largest number of facts of drug trafficking in cities and regions of Azerbaijan was registered in Sumgait. This was reflected in the report of the State Commission for Combating drug addiction and drug trafficking.
It is noted that in 2021, 587 facts were revealed in the city of Sumgait, and in Lenkorani – 459 facts of drug trafficking.
339 people were prosecuted in Sumgait, and 443 people in Lenkorani.
