Sumgait: fined non-vaccinated drivers and taxi passengers

In Sumgait, the police raid against the unvaccified taxi drivers and citizens who did not use medical masks were told HAQQIN.AZ in the press service of the Ministry of the Interior.

During the events held by the staff of the Sumgait city branch of the police and the road police of Azerbaijan against drivers who did not receive the second dose of vaccines, measures were taken on the appropriate article of the Code of Administrative Disorders.

Legal measures were also taken with respect to drivers who do not establish transparent partitions in a taxi, as well as passengers who sit on the front seat of the car and do not use a medical mask.

As a result of the raid, the police revealed passengers and drivers who did not use medical masks in public transport.

About 50 drivers and passengers who violated sanitary quarantine rules when conducting preventive measures in Sumgait, were fined.

“It should be noted that in order to increase control of compliance with quarantine rules in Sumgait, the police will continue to take preventive measures in public transport and other closed premises,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs says.
