In Britain, the third round of elections of the Prime Minister ended. Of the five candidates, four went further, writes The Guardian.
The first place, as in the previous two rounds, was taken by the ex-Minister of Finance Rishi Sunak with 115 votes. In the second and third place is the former head of the Ministry of Defense Penny Mordont (82 votes) and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Liz Tracers (71 votes). The fourth place was taken by the Minister for equality and local self -government of Kami Badenoch (58 votes).
At the same time, a member of the parliament Tom Tugndat derived from the list of candidates for the post of head of the British government. He scored 37 votes and took fifth place.
It is worth noting that the first stage of the premiere elections are now being held in Britain, at which members of the parliament from the conservative party will choose two main contenders for the post of prime minister. After that, the second stage will take place when all Britain conservatives will choose the prime minister among the two remaining candidates.
