Supreme Court of Pakistan approved liberation on security of ex-Prime Minister of Imran Khan

The Supreme Court of Pakistan approved the release of ex-minister of Imran Khan and the former foreign minister Shah Mahmud Kureshi, detention on charges of violating the law on state secret.

According to Dawn, the court ordered the leaders of the Pakistani Party “Justice Movement” (PTI) to introduce two pledge in the amount of 1 million Pakistani rupees each.

Earlier, in October, a special court of Pakistan charged Khan and Kureshi of violating the law on state secret. However, Pakistani politicians did not accept the accusations.

In November, the Pakistani Party “Justice Moverence” appealed to the Supreme Court with a request to free the khan and Kureshi on bail.

August 5 of this year, the ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan Khan was sentenced to three years in the conclusion in the case of corruption.

On August 29, the court in Pakistan suspended the sentence of a three -year imprisonment against him, deciding to release him on bail. However, on August 30, Khan was again taken into custody on charges of “disclosing state secrets.”
