The Supreme Court of Azerbaijan examined the cassation appeal of the former prosecutor general of Azerbaijan Eldar Hasanov, said Haqqin.az the lawyer of the accused Javad Javadov.
According to him, the court decided to remove the arrest from the property of the children of Gasanov – Anara Hasanov, Emilia Gurbanova and Sabina Huseynova. The arrest from the part of the property belonging to the wife of the ex-Prosecutor General Elmira Hasanova was also removed.
Eldar Hasanov is accused of the fact that when Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Romania, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2010-2020, he legalized about 12 million manats received by a criminal way.
In 1995-2000, Gasanov served as the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan.
