Sweden does not finance and does not arm the terrorist organizations, said Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson in response to Turkey’s statements that this is a “seedling of terrorist organizations”, the Russian BBC service reports.
“Of course, we do not send any money and no weapons to terrorist organizations,” said Andersson.
Today, representatives of Sweden and Finland meet with Turkish officials in Ankara to discuss the applications of the two northern countries to join NATO. They need support for all 30 NATO members, but Turkey is still objecting to their proposals.
