The Swiss side currently does not have legal grounds for the transfer of Russian assets frozen in the country.
This was announced at a briefing by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Lilian Le Lae.

Earlier, the head of the Federal Department (Minister) on Economic Affairs, Education and Studies of Switzerland, Guy Parmelene said that the transfer of frozen Russian assets will be a violation of Swiss legislation.
In turn, the head of the Federal Foreign Affairs Department of Switzerland Injacio Kassis said that the country does not exclude the use of frozen assets of the Russian Federation to restore Ukraine.
