On Sunday, the US military base near the Omar oil field in the Syrian province of Deir Ez-Zor was subjected to missile strikes. This was announced by Al-Yalam TV channel with reference to eyewitnesses.
According to them, at least five explosions were heard at the American military facility, then a fire broke out.
The shelling was carried out from the border area with Iraq. In response, the helicopters of the Western coalition attacked the positions of the Shiite detachments in the vicinity of Elmeadin and Zeiban.
On October 18, the US Air Force drone released missiles on the bases of Shiite militants east of Deir ez-Zor. Presumably, strokes were inflicted on warehouses with weapons and ammunition.
