In Syria, as part of the process of restoration of the country that began after the overthrow of the 61-year-old Baasist regime, the national emblem, identity certificates and official documents are updated.
A team of 50 volunteers under the leadership of the founder of the Brending and Marketing company Mpire Agency Muhammad Selvaye is engaged in the creation of personality certificates, passports, official documents and the Syria National Logo. There is also work on changes in currency design and symbols of state institutions.
This initiative began after the colleague of Muhammad Salbye Vasim Kadura wrote on Facebook that “Syria needs a new identity.”
After that, the new Syrian government officially entrusted Salvay and Kadura to develop a new system of identity of the country.
The goal is to strengthen in people a sense of belonging to the country
In an interview with an ANADOLE agency, Salbye said: “We are not just developing a design. We are studying the historical heritage, architecture and national symbols of Syria before creating a new design.
”This project is extremely important to strengthen the sense of belonging to the people and increase the professionalism of the country’s representation in the international arena,” he said, adding that the work consists not only of the design stage, but also includes a comprehensive research process.
The designer emphasized that this is not only aesthetic transformation, but also a “creation of identity”, reflecting history, cultural heritage and architecture of Syria.
It all started with my colleague Vasim Kadura “Syria needs a new identity.” This idea attracted the attention of government officials, and the representative of the Syrian Ministry of Media Media Ali contacted us. He said that our company is instructed to engage in this project. “
In his opinion, this study is an important step from the point of view of the country’s position in the international arena.
“National identity is not limited to individual documents. Each element representing the country is part of a single whole – from the logo to official documents and even currency. We create an identity that will be more strongly represented by Syria in the international arena,” he believes. < /p>
Speaking about the accelerated schedule of the process, Salvay noted: “This is not just a design project. This is a great responsibility for the new identity, history and future of the country. Despite the limited time, we work meticulously to achieve the best result.”
A team of 50 volunteers is working on the project to develop national symbols of Syria, including historians, researchers and scientists. It is expected that the project will be completed in 3-4 months. The team members signed an agreement on confidentiality to prevent a leakage of project details.
