Syria: Participant In Torture Was Detained At Overthrown Mode

During the operation in the suburbs of the capital of Syria, Damascus was detained by Shadi Adil Mahfuz, who took part in the torture of prisoners in the overthrown prisons of Bashar Assad.

Mahfuz worked in the 277th military intelligence unit, which was considered one of the “torture centers” of the overthrown regime.

This is reported by the official Syrian news agency Sana.

as reported, the detainee was recruiting fighters on behalf of the unit and was involved in the commission of war crimes.

In addition, Mahfuz, along with the “remnants of the overthrown regime” took part in recent attacks on the Syrian security forces and the military in the coastal region of the country.

After the completion of the necessary legal procedures, Mahfiz will appear before the court.
