Syrian Border Forces Conducted An Operation Against Hezbollah

The Border Forces of the Ministry of Defense of Syria conducted a large-scale military operation in the province of Homs in order to ensure the safety of the Syrian-Livanese border.

The operation was carried out in the city of Kusair in the rural area of ​​Homs in order to counteract the smuggling of drugs and weapons and stripping the remnants of the Hezbollah militants.

During the operation that lasted several days, fierce clashes using heavy weapons took place in the area.

As a result of clashes, the Syrian troops captured many strategic points and strengthened control over safety on the Syrian-Livan border.

The commander of the military operations of Yusif Haled informed the Anadolu agency that the security of the border in this area was fully ensured.

“We took control of this area. During the operation, prohibited substances and many weapons were captured. The clashes lasted six days two members of the Hezbollah, and several armed people were neutralized,” said Yusif Haled.
