The Syrian Free Army supported by the United States began an attack on Al-Bukamal and Al-Mayadin in the Tanf province, where American troops are deployed.

According to information received from local sources, the forces of the Syrian Free Army began an attack on al-Bukamal near the Syrian-Iraqi border and al-Mayadin in the province of Deir ez-Zor in the east of Syria.

Iran’s supported by Iran use Al-Bukamal and Al-Mayadin areas as their headquarters. The forces “hashd al-Shaabi” from Iraq often move to this area and vice versa.

American troops organized several attacks on the groups supported by Iran and the forces of the regime in these areas.

The Syrian Free Army operates separately from the Free Syrian Army (SSA), which was created after folk movements in Syria and recently received the name of the Syrian National Army.
