Syrian National Army Took Control Of Tishrin’s Dam

The Syrian National Army (Sleep) as part of the Operation “Dawn of Liberty” took control of the Tishrin dam, which provides a significant part of the water and electrical supply of the eastern part of the country.

Tishrin Plotina since 2015 was captured by the PKK/YPG terrorist organization.

Located south of the Münbig region and is one of the important dams on the Euphrates River, Tishrin is the largest and most important dam that is controlled by sleep.

approximately 70 percent of Syria needs in electricity are satisfied due to the dams of Tishrin, Tabka and Baas.

Tishrinsky dam on the western bank of the Euphrates River was captured by YPG/PKK with the support of the United States on December 27, 2015. Dam became the first energy object occupied by a terrorist organization west of Euphrates. The United States in January 2016 created its base on the dam.
