Operation “Dawn of Freedom”

The Syrian National Army (Sleep) on Sunday, December 1, began operation to prevent the PKK/YPG terrorist organization to create a terrorist corridor between the Tel Rifat and Northeast Syria. This was reported by sources in the Security Service.

Previously armed groups opposing the regime of Bashar al -Assad occupied the city of Aleppo in the north of Syria.

During the onset of armed groups in the direction of the Aleppo, the forces of the Syrian regime in a short time lost control of significant territories. This prompted the Syrian regime to seek support to the PKK/YPG terrorist organization.

The regime began to transfer the territories controlled by the PKK/YPG forces located to the east of the Euphrates River. As a result of this, a large number of PKK/YPG terrorists and heavy weapons were transported from the east from Euphrates to Aleppo.

The PKK/YPG terrorist organization took the transfer of territories as an opportunity to create a terrorist corridor between the Tel Rifate and the North-East of Syria. However, this plan was torn by the Syrian National Army.

Fixing the maneuvers of the terrorist organization against the background of promoting opposition groups to Aleppo, sleeping the Operation “Dawn of Freedom” and quickly advanced on the battlefield.

sleep tore off the PKK/YPG designs to create a terrorist corridor, cutting off the route between Rakka and Aleppo, as well as blocking the connection between Tel Rifat and Northeast Syria.
