The President of the Syrian Arab Republic during the transitional period Ahmed al-Sharaa will make a visit to Turkey on February 4.
This was announced on the social network X the head of the Relations Department under the Administration of the President of Turkey Fakhretin Altun.
The visit will take place at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Altun expressed confidence that “the visit of Ahmed al-Sharaa and the accompanying delegation will contribute to the strengthening and expansion of Turkish-Syrian relations that were restored after the liberation of Syria.”
According to him, during the visit a comprehensive discussion of the latest events in Syria will be held. “The joint steps that both countries must be considered in order to restore the economy, steady stability and security in Syria. During the negotiations, support will also be focused, which must be provided by the transition administration and the Syrian people on multilateral platforms,” Altun said.
Negotiations will be held in the presidential complex in Ankara.
