Taikonauts Chinese space station “Tiangun” (heavenly palace) in the near -Earth orbit completed an exit to outer space.
According to the statement of the Chinese agency of manned space programs (CMSA), the crew members of CUI Shui and Song Lindun completed the first exit beyond the station.
Taikonaut Van Haozy, who remained at the station, supported the team from the inside.
During the exit to the outer space, which lasted about 8.5 hours, the crew members performed a number of operations using the controls and the robotic “hand” of the station.
It was the 19th exit to the outer space at the space station and the second extra-grown activities of the crew sent to the station as part of the Sinzhou-19 mission.
The CINGZHOU-19 crew, sent to the station on October 30, 2024, made his first exit to the outer space on December 17, 2024.
