On the eve of the People’s Liberation Army of China (PLA) announced the beginning of a complex military teaching around the perimeter of Taiwan Island. In the “joint sword-2024b” exercises in the Taiwan Strait, ground forces, naval fleet, air forces, missiles and other troops were involved, the PLA combat command reported in the eastern zone. The exercises ended on the same day at 18:00.
