In Tajikistan, from October 17 to 21, at the Harbmaydon training ground, an active phase of joint exercises is held with the collective forces of the rapid deployment of the Central Asian region (KSBR TsAR) Rubezh 2024. (CSTO).
The topic of the teachings: “The preparation and conduct of the KSBR CROM to destroy illegal armed groups that have invaded the territory of the CSTO member”.
During the exercise, issues of preparation and conduct of hostilities are being worked out to destroy illegal armed groups that have invaded the territory of the state of the CSTO.
Currently, the KSBR TsAD is working out issues of organizing military operations in conditions of mining terrain, coordination of units and their preparation for the implementation of educational tasks.
Particular attention is paid to the organization of air defense of the KSBR TsABR During operational deployment, as well as the interaction of the KSBR CRO command with the forces and means of air defense forces and the air defense of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 201st military base of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation In the preparation and conduct of hostilities.
The joint teaching “Rubezh 2024” is attended by military contingents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, operational groups of the United Staff and the CSTO Secretariat. The basis of the Russian contingent is the military personnel of the Central Military District from the 2013 military base. The total number of participants in the exercises is about 1,500 people and 250 units of military and special equipment, including aircraft, helicopters and UAVs.
The opening ceremony of the exercise on October 17 was attended by the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces-First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, Lieutenant General Emomali Sobirzoda, First Deputy Chief of the United Staff of the CSTO, Lieutenant General Khasan Kaloev, representatives of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan , Russia, Tajikistan and invited officials.
