Tajikistan and the Commonwealth of Dominics signed an agreement on the mutual cancellation of the visa regime. This was reported by the Tajik media, referring to the country’s Foreign Ministry.
The document was signed by the regular representative of Tajikistan at the UN Jonibek Hikmat and the permanent representative of Dominica at the UN Filbert Aaron.
According to the agreement, citizens of the two countries with real passports are exempted from the need to obtain a visa for entry, departure, transit and temporary stay in the territory of the other side. The permitted stay without a visa is up to 90 days.
It is expected that the agreement will strengthen bilateral relations and facilitate the trips of citizens of the two states.
Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan announced the introduction of a visa -free regime for citizens of Tajikistan and Iran, traveling between the two countries of air transport. The new rules entered into force on February 3, 2025.
