Tajikistan And Kuwait Held High -level Meetings

On November 3, in El-Kuwait, negotiations at the highest level were held between Tajikistan and Kuwait, which began between the chapters of two states in a narrow format and continued with the participation of the official delegations of the parties. This was reported by the press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon thanked Emir Kuwait Sheikh Mishaal al-Ahmad al-Jabi al-Sabah for an invitation to make an official visit and take part in a high-level conference.

“We consider the state of Kuwait its reliable partner in the region and the world and are ready to take joint practical measures to further strengthen relations with him,” said Emomali Rahmon.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the current level and content of the relations of the two countries.

During the conversation, great attention was paid to the expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation.

In this regard, it was considered necessary to intensify the activities of the intergovernmental joint commission, create the Council of Entrepreneurs of the two countries and a joint investment fund.

The parties expressed interest in expanding cooperation in various cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The development of cooperation in the areas of tourism, science and education, healthcare was called a promising area of ​​relations between the two countries.

At the end of negotiations at the highest level, Emomali Rahmon invited Emir Kuwait to visit Tajikistan on an official visit at a convenient time for him.
