Tajikistan And South Korea Discussed Cooperation In Field Of Employment And Labor Migration

Tajikistan and Korea discussed issues of labor migration and cooperation in the field of employment.

According to Avesta.tj, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sodik Imomi held a meeting with the vice president of foreign labor and global employment of the development service of human resources of Korea Lim Lim Lim Lim in Seoul on Tuesday, November fifth.

The parties discussed cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the population of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Employment and Labor of Korea.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of sending and receiving workers from Tajikistan to Korea as part of a system of employment permits (EPS).

A exchange of views was held on the creation of the Center for the System for Work Permissions in Tajikistan, which will help improve coordination and interaction between countries in the field of labor migration.

The importance of cooperation in the field of employment and labor migration for the development of both countries, as well as the need to create mechanisms that would contribute to better regulation of the processes of employment of Tajik citizens in Korea.

The parties expressed their readiness to continue the dialogue and work on practical steps aimed at improving working conditions and social protection for migrants.

The signed memorandum opens up new opportunities for Tajikistan in terms of integrating its citizens into the Korean labor market, which will contribute not only to economic development, but also to increase the standard of living of migrants.
