In the Sogdian region of Tajikistan, a meeting was held on delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.
“In the city of Buston of the Sogdian region of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting of the co-chairs of government delegations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan on the division and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border of Kamchybek Tashiev and Saimutimin Yatimov was held,” the press service of the Kyrgyz government said.
During the meeting, the heads of government delegations discussed the issues of delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border and gave specific instructions to the working groups to continue work to further determine the passage of the line of the border of the two states in the remaining areas.
The meeting was held in the atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding, the department noted.
