In Tashkent, an event was held, dedicated to the eighth anniversary of the prevention of attempts by a coup in Turkey. Photo exhibition and briefing were organized by the Turkish Embassy in Uzbekistan, reports.
Turkish ambassador to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar, speaking at the event, stated that the Turkish Republic was extremely strong against internal and external threats.
“Feto for many years has tried to realize its plans in Turkey and beyond, but our country is firmly opposed to this danger, – he said.
He also noted that Uzbekistan was one of the first countries to reveal the threat from Feto, and in the 1990s expelled its members from the country. This contributed to the development of close relations between Turkey and Uzbekistan, deprived of provocations and obstacles.
