Uzbekistan and Japan discussed cooperation in the mining industry.
According to the Uzbek state media, the Ministry of Mining and Geology has a meeting with a delegation from the Japanese city of Mikas.
Guests presented a presentation devoted to scientific research conducted in Japan in the field of coal mining and processing, as well as underground storage technologies of carbon dioxide.
In addition, the meeting participants got acquainted with the developments in the field of hydrogen production using the underground gasification technology.
During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on the prospects of further cooperation in the field of mining industry, geology and implementation of innovative projects.
