In Tashkent, the second meeting of foreign ministers of the strategic dialogue “Central Asia – the Council of Cooperation of the Arab States of the Persian Gulf” began its work, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan reports.
delegations from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Kuwait, the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan take part in the event.
At a meeting with the introductory speech, Bakhtiir Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, spoke.
“This meeting is a vivid confirmation of our solidarity and determination and further strengthen the partnership between two strategically important regions – Central Asia and the Persian Gulf,” he said.
According to the Uzbek minister, first of all, this is a convenient opportunity to discuss the agenda of cooperation, to jointly implement the agreements reached at the first summit of our format, held in Jidd in 2023, exchange views on urgent international and regional problems.
“I want to express my sincere appreciation for supporting our initiative to hold today’s important event in Tashkent and to congratulate you again,” he added.
