The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRK) wants to take part in all areas of activity of the organization of Turkic states (OTG) and develop relations with all the institutions of the association. This was stated by President TRSK Ersin Tatars, speaking at the informal summit of OTG, held in the Azerbaijani city of Shusha.
Tatars expressed satisfaction with his stay in Shusha, the spiritual capital of the Turkic world, and also expressed gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for the invitation to take part in the event.
President of TRSK noted that the city is very much and happy that the Azerbaijani lands who have been under the Armenian occupations were liberated by the heroic army of Azerbaijan under the leadership of the head of state Ilham Aliyev.
“Our greatest power is the unity, community and solidarity of the Turkic world. We are in a symbolic place that we demonstrate what we can achieve when we get together and show solidarity,” Tatars said.
He noted that the representation of TRSK as an integral part of the Turkic world at the summit held in Ancient Shush is an extremely important and historical event.

At the same time, President TRSK expressed the hope that the appeal of Lefkosha in this direction will find a positive response in the Otg.
In addition, the Tatars attracted attention to an increase in the number of natural disasters caused by a consequence of climate change and global warming.
