The presence of the ex -president of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili is free for the stability of the country, according to the head of the ruling party of Georgia “Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia” Irakli Kobahidze.
“Of course, the presence of Mikhail Saakashvili contains risks at large, however, if we consider such an option theoretically, we are somehow responsible to our society in order to prevent riots in this country in any case,” said Kobakhidze In an interview with the Georgian television channel IMedi.
To the journalist’s question about the possible pardon of Saakashvili, President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, Kobahidze replied that the chances are equal. The president is under “influence”. Earlier, experts of the non -governmental organization Empathy found heavy metals in the Saakashvili body, including traces of mercury. According to them, the politician revealed ten diagnoses that are incompatible with imprisonment.
