In the command of the Acting Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikola Pashinyan, believes that the second round of parliamentary elections in the country is inevitable, the Greparak newspaper writes.
The publication notes that the ruling team believes that the “Civil Agreement” party will not be able to gain 50% + 1 voice in the first round, and other political forces will not be able to defeat and form a coalition government.
According to the electoral code of Armenia, six days are on the formation of a coalition. If during these days after the elections, the maximum three forces will not be able to create a coalition, which will have 54%, then the second round of elections will be appointed. In accordance with IR, the second round takes place on the 28th day after the first voting.
In the second round of elections, two parties participate (blocks), for which the largest number of voters voted. Extraordinary parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled for June 20. The election campaign officially started on June 7.
