Tehran: Due To High Level Of Air Pollution, Classes In Schools Were Canceled

In the capital of Iran Tehran, where there is a high level of air pollution, classes in schools were canceled on Sunday.

According to information from Tehran’s City Hall, due to the ongoing strong air pollution, educational institutions, with the exception of universities in the Demavend and Firuzkukh regions, will remain closed.

The educational process will be carried out remotely.

The Tehran Air Air Measuring company said that the level of pollution in the capital today was 150 micrograms per cubic meter.

This indicator means that the quality of the air is harmful to the health of all residents of the city.

It is also reported that in the neighboring province of Elburs, the school will be closed tomorrow.
