Tehran Residents Called To Reduce Volume Of Water Consumed By 20 %

It is reported that the water level in the dams supplying the capital has decreased, and forecasts of weather forecasters indicate that the drought will continue next year.

Tehran’s water resources management also called on the residents of the capital to reduce water consumption by 20 percent to avoid disconnecting in the summer months.

It is noted that in some houses, water consumption is 500 liters per person per day, which significantly exceeds the norm. Subscribers who consume an excessive amount of water at the first stage will receive a warning, and if such a trend is maintained, shutdown will be made, the authorities say.
