“Currently, sequencing in the medical genetics department of the National Center for Hematology and Transfusiology is carried out in order to determine the genetic features of the SARS-COV-2 virus spreading in Azerbaijan. This was reported in the National Center for Hematology and Transfusion, the APA reports.
The Center noted that in this study, preference is given to persons with a positive result of the PCR test on COVID-19, assessed as “infected abroad” on the basis of the study of the sanitary and epidemiological service, and persons infected again.
“until today in Azerbaijan has not been identified by the Omikron strain, it is approved by the Center.
