In Kyiv, the third round of negotiations with the Netherlands under two -way security guarantees was held. This was reported by the press service of the office of the head of state on Monday, February 5.
The Ukrainian negotiating group was headed by the deputy head of the presidential office Igor Zhovkva.
Zhovkva thanked the Dutch side for the approval of the EU on February 1 of the decision to create a new financial instrument for Ukraine UKRain Facility up to 50 billion euros for 2024-2027.
“Constant support and cohesion of the EU are critical for our economic and financial stability, as well as military assistance and sanctioned pressure on the aggressor. All this brings our common victory,” he emphasized.
The parties discussed the modified draft of the relevant security agreement and agreed on positions regarding individual elements of the document.
They also noted the achieved progress and agreed on the schedule of further actions to finalize the bilateral agreement.
