About 290 species of birds, mainly flamingos, pelicans, swans and herons, as well as many species of mammals, including wild horses.

Graceful birds chose a “bird paradise” for habitat and deduction of offspring. The delta, stretching through the province of Izmir, is one of the main artificial areas of bird reproduction in the world.
Since the natural habitat of Flamingo in the park began to be washed out in waves, in 2012 an artificial island was created here as a platform for incubation. On the artificial “Incubator” with an area of 6.5 acres, thousands of chicks hatch annually.
