Thousands Of Muslims Made Festive Prayer In Mosques Of Russia

In the mosques of Moscow, the festive prayer in connection with the end of the Holy month Ramazan performed thousands of Muslims.

Believers filled the Moscow Central Mosque, Memorial and Historical Mosque from the early morning.

Due to the large number of believers, additional zones for prayer on the adjacent streets and in parks were organized. Given the number of people, enhanced measures were taken to ensure security: around the mosques, security was deployed.

Tuptopes of people who could not accommodate inside mosques filled streets, alleys and parks, creating a unique atmosphere of unity and spiritual upsurge.

Many Muslims made a festive prayer, spreading prayer rugs in suitable places on the street.

Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of the Muslims of the Russian Federation, the chief mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin headed a prayer and read a sermon in the Moscow Central Mosque.

Gainutdin read congratulations on Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of Russia Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin, from the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko and the chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin for the Muslims of Russia.

Sums from mosques distributed the state television channel “Russia-1”. Muslims of Russia also made a festive prayer in other cities such as St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Ufa, Kazan and Grozny.
