Three Iranian presidential candidates refused to participate in elections

The representative of the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Supreme Safety Council Said Jalili decided to take his candidacy with participation in the presidential election, Interfax reports with reference to Iranian media.

In his statement, Jalili pointed out that he refuses the pre-election race in favor of another candidate – Ibrahim Raishi, a racing favorite.

The decision not to take part in the elections was previously announced a conservative deputy of Alisian Upani, as well as the candidate reformer Mochsen Mehralize. Thus, the struggle for the presidential chair will lead four candidates.

Election of President Iran will be held on Friday, June 18. According to Press TV, 55.6% of voters are ready to vote for Raishi, the second place in the rating with a large margin occupies Mohsen Cutai, which is supported by 5.5% of voters. 23% of voters have not yet decided on the choice. President Iran is elected for four years. For victory, the candidate needs to be dialed at least 50% plus one voice.
