Turkish cooperation and coordination agencies (TİKA) provided material assistance to two schools in the Kunduz province in northern Afghanistan.
According to the TİKA office in Mazari-Sharif, the agency continues to support development projects in Afghanistan. As part of this initiative of elementary school, Khalil Saaded and high school named after Shahid, Abdul Mahdum, located in the Kalei-Walm, were provided with desks, chairs, boards, furniture sets, cabinets, bookshelves, fire extinguishers and cleaning sets.
At the equipment transfer ceremony, the TİKA office coordinator at Mazari-Sharif Mikail Tashdemir noted that these schools were built by Tİka in 2007 and have since serve educational institutions. He emphasized that the assistance provided will improve the quality of education for about 2.5 thousand students of these schools.
Tashdemir also added that Ti̇ka will continue to support projects, especially in the field of education.
Deputy Head of the Department of Public Education Kunduz Kari Salekh Muhammad Nikmel expressed gratitude to Turkey and Ti̇ka agency, noting that such projects make a significant contribution to the preparation of the young generation for the best future.
