Relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are developing successfully in the rising line in almost all directions. This was stated by President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev at a meeting with the Tajik colleague Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe.
Tokaev arrived on a state visit to Dushanbe, in the palace of the nation (Taj. Kasri Millat), the official ceremony of the meeting was held.
The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that it attaches important to regular meetings at the highest level, which serve as a strong basis for strengthening the Kazakh-Tajik multifaceted partnership.
“We are reliable allies. We value Tajikistan’s attitude to Kazakhstan. But you can’t stop halfway, we must move forward. During the negotiations, the issues of trade, economic, transit, transit, energy, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as interactions in the areas of digitalization, agriculture and water resources were considered.
After the meeting of the heads of state in the narrow composition, negotiations continued with the participation of members of official delegations.
“Our joint efforts to strengthen allied relations contribute to ensuring sustainable growth and stability in the entire Central Asian region,” Tokaev said.
The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that the main goal of his state visit to Tajikistan is to achieve a common goal to withdraw the Kazakh-Tajik relations of friendship and mutual support to a qualitatively new level.
“We set the goal of bringing the volume of mutual trade to $ 2 billion. I believe that there are opportunities to achieve this figure,” Tokaev said.
Meanwhile, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon emphasized that the signing of an allied relationship agreement will qualitatively strengthen interstate cooperation for the long -term perspective
