Kazakhstan is a peaceful state whose highest values are consent and unity. This was stated by the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev, speaking at the solemn ceremony of raising the state flag in the ethnemorial complex “Atameken” in Astana.

According to the president, Kazakhstan established friendly relations with all countries of the world.

“Thanks to our achievements, the turquoise banner of Kazakhstan around the world is perceived as a sign of unity and solidarity. We are invariably faithful to the principles of friendship and mutual respect. Today we all build fair Kazakhstan – a society in which everyone is provided. A large -scale political reform has been carried out, a new economic paradigm was determined.

“Uniting under the sky -blue flag, we will definitely achieve the intended goals,” he said.

According to the president, the state symbols of Kazakhstan embody fundamental values and ideals, arouse in each of the Kazakhstanis an authentic sense of pride in the country, and also unite all citizens both during triumph days and during triumphal victories.

Tokaev also drew attention to the fact that the assignment of military ranks on the day of state symbols became a good tradition and pointed out the significance that the military chose the defense of the homeland with their life mission.

“In difficult times for the country, our ancestors, uniting under a common banner, defended their land. They took care of the Great Steppe as a zenitsa and transferred it to the descendants. To maintain this priceless heritage – our duty,” Tokaev emphasized.
