“Determining the foundations of the life of the state and society, the Constitution puts at the forefront of the interests, rights and freedoms of citizens. Tokaev recalled that as a result of the constitutional reform of 2022, a comprehensive process of democratization was launched in the country, conditions were created for the modernization of the political system.
The role of human rights institutions has been strengthened, the status of the Commissioner for Human Rights is increased. The Constitutional Court has been created, which today fully promotes the assertion of the rule of law, follows from the text.
The constitution has strengthened its function of ensuring the law and the order on which a fair and harmonious society is based, the president said.
Respect and strict observance of the Basic Law is a vivid manifestation of high civil responsibility and genuine patriotism, the text of congratulations says.
