President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev gave a high appreciation to the comprehensive development of Kazakh-Georgian relations.
According to the press service of the Kazakh leader, the head of the Kazakh state held negotiations with the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze.
Tokaev congratulated Kobakhidze on reassignment to the post of prime minister and wished further success in responsible activities for the benefit of the prosperity of the Georgian people.
The President of Kazakhstan also noted the dynamic progress of Georgia in recent years, emphasizing the significant results of the reform on the and impressive growth of the economy of 9.4 percent.
According to him, Georgia is a reliable partner of Kazakhstan in the Caucasian region, with whom the country is connected by strong bonds of friendship and close historical ties.
“Kazakhstan and Georgia effectively interact at various levels, including cooperation between parliaments, governments and state bodies,” Tokaev said.
Irakli Kobahidze, in turn, expressed gratitude to the head of the Kazakh state for a warm welcome and emphasized that Kazakhstan became one of the first countries that he visited after his took office.
The Prime Minister said that Georgia is steadily aimed at the fruitful development of multifaceted relations with Kazakhstan.
“The strengthening of political and economic cooperation is of great importance for us. We are ready to actively support Kazakhstan’s interests in various formats, including multilateral sites,” he said.
The head of the Georgian government invited the President of Kazakhstan to visit Georgia on a visit.
The interlocutors paid separate attention to increasing the volume of cargo flow along the Trans -Caspian International Transport Route and the modernization of transit infrastructure of the corridor.
During the conversation, the prospects of deepening bilateral interaction in a wide range of areas were also discussed, including trade, energy, investment, tourism, artificial intelligence and digitalization, as well as topical issues of international agenda and regional security.
