President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev on June 5 took part in the solemn ceremony of raising the state flag in the Atameken complex.
The President noted that state symbols are a vivid personification of sovereignty and statehood. “The sky -blue flag, the coat of arms and the anthem are sacred to all of our people. Independence is our main value, and proudly towering banners serves as the embodiment of the country’s high authority,” the head of state said.
According to him, in the most difficult times, a single banner united their ancestors. “The white banner of Abylay Khan rallied the entire Kazakh people. The flag of the leaders of the Alash movement called for courage and caused a sense of pride. We continue the glorious work of our fathers. Today, the flag of independent Kazakhstan proudly cuts near the UN building. He visited the ground with our astronauts, The climbers lifted him over the highest point in the world, he has repeatedly rose at sports events to the sounds of our state anthem. Our sky -blue banner is recognized all over the world, ”the politician noted.
The president emphasized that the duty of every citizen is to honor the sacred symbols.
In this context, he pointed out the educational significance of today’s ceremony.
As the president said, state symbols personify the history, identity and bright aspirations of our people into the future. “We will not allow anyone to encroach on our sacred values,” Tokaev emphasized.
