Tokaev Instructed To Ensure Safety Of Military And Civilian Facilities Due To Situation Around Ukraine

President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev instructed the Prime Minister, the head of the presidential administration, the heads of all law enforcement agencies and Akims to take urgent measures to ensure the safety of the main military and civilians in connection with the escalation of the situation around Ukraine. This was announced by the adviser – press secretary of the President of Kazakhstan Berik Wali on the social network Facebook.

He noted that the chairmen of the chambers of the Parliament of Kazakhstan are also informed of the measures taken.

“The state of affairs in the country is under personal control of the president. For our state, the main strategic goal is to maintain stability, calmness, legality and order. Kazakhstan has repeatedly advocated the issue of terminating hostilities between the two Slavic peoples through negotiations,” – Write Wali.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov held an operational meeting on the execution of Tokaev’s instructions on the adoption of urgent measures to ensure the security of the main military and civilian facilities in connection with the situation around Ukraine with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, Internal Affairs, Emergencies, Foreign Affairs , healthcare, transport, energy, industry and construction, national economy, finance.
