TOKAEV: Joint Projects With Participation Of Qatar Will Contribute To Development Of Two Countries

The Doha Forum conference provides a unique opportunity for open discussions on the most pressing global problems. This was stated by President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev at a meeting with Emir Catar Sheikh Tamim Ben Hamad Al Tanya.

According to the press service of the Kazakh leader, Tokaev thanked Sheikh Tamim Ben Hamad Al Tanya for the invitation to take part in the Doha Forum conference.

The President of Kazakhstan also praised the personal contribution of Emir Catar to strengthen bilateral relations that reached the level of strategic partnership.

During the conversation of the two leaders, special attention was paid to timely and high -quality implementation of agreements on investment projects in banking, telecommunication, energy, agricultural and medical spheres.

The President of Kazakhstan expressed confidence that joint projects with the participation of Qatari business will contribute to the development of two countries.

In turn, Emir Katara noted that the cooperation between Astana and the Deach acquired a long -term strategic character. According to him, the governments are conducting systematic work to carry out the agreements achieved at the highest level.

Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev and Sheikh Tamim Ben Hamad Al Tanya agreed that the active political dialogue at the highest level would continue to contribute to the qualitative deepening of Kazakh-Catarrian relations.

Earlier, the President of Kazakhstan as an honorary guest took part in the opening ceremony of the Doha Forum conference.

The event has been held since 2003 and this year is underway under the motto “Dialogue, Diplomacy and Diversity” (Diplomacy, Dialogue and Diversity).
