Tokaev: Kazakhstan Considers Azerbaijan As Reliable Strategic Partner And Ally

President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev accepted the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jajun Bayramov, who arrived in Astana on an official visit.

According to the press – the service of the Kazakh leader, Tokaev noted the significance of this meeting for the further strengthening of multifaceted interstate connections.

“Your visit is of great importance from the point of view of further promotion of our cooperation with fraternal Azerbaijan. Relations with Azerbaijan are very important to us. We consider your country as a reliable strategic partner and ally,” the president emphasized.

In turn, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan expressed gratitude for the traditionally warm welcome and emphasized the dynamic development of bilateral relations.

Jaykhun Bayramov also expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan for operational assistance in connection with the tragedy associated with the collapse of the Actuu Air Airlines.

The meeting discussed the implementation of large strategic projects, including laying the fiber-optic communication line and deep-sea electric cable along the bottom of the Caspian Sea.

The prospects of further interaction in the fields of trade, investment, digitalization, transit and transport were also considered.
