Tokaev noted contribution of Netherlands to economy of Kazakhstan

President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev noted the contribution of the Netherlands to the economy of the republic. The Kazakh leader said this at a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, who arrived in Astana on a working visit.

“I warmly recall our meeting in 2015. We value your personal contribution to the assistance and development of our mutually beneficial cooperation. We know that you are currently the longest prime minister of your country and have vast international experience. I would also like to note the dynamic development of our two -way cooperation. P>

The President of Kazakhstan noted the importance of the visit of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands in terms of giving an additional impulse to the development of trade and economic relations between Astana and Amsterdam.

In turn, Mark Rutte highly appreciated the level of bilateral partnership.

He also spoke in the activation of the practical interaction of Kazakhstan and the Netherlands.

During the negotiations, the ways of strengthening trade, economic, energy and investment cooperation, as well as contacts in the fields of transport, innovation, nuclear energy, agriculture, healthcare, climate, and water resource management were discussed.

The interlocutors exchanged views on topical issues of the international and regional agenda. The importance of continuing the dialogue in the framework of interaction with the European Union is emphasized.
