President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev visited the Center for Innovation Creativity of Schoolchildren, the press service of the Kazakh leader reports.
The second day of the president’s working trip in Almaty began with a visit to the Center for Innovation Creativity for School Children, located in the Nauryzbai district of the city.
The center operates creative clubs and circles of various directions. In particular, the studios of scientific, technical, artistic and aesthetic creativity, environmental and botanical education and career guidance.
The head of state got acquainted with the work of the aircraft model, the laboratory of renewable energy sources, the virtual laboratory and the career guidance cabinet.
Having familiarized himself with the work of the center, Tokaev talked with schoolchildren and congratulated them on the Day of Protection of Children. He noted that such centers for the formation of creative abilities, revealing the talent of children should be as much as possible in the country.
The president called on the children and to continue to do what they love. According to him, this will allow them to achieve great success in life and recognition in society. At the end of the meeting, the head of state wished the children success in their studies.
In the center located in a three -story building, more than 1000 children in various circles and sports sections can simultaneously engage. In addition, there are rooms of psychological and pedagogical correction, defectologist, speech therapist, as well as the auditorium designed for 300 seats, media exhibition, interactive playground and coworking zone.
Earlier, Tokaev congratulated on his official Twitter page on June 1 – International Children’s Day. “Congratulations to the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the International Day of Protection of Children! Children are the future of our country. We must take care of them. Creating favorable conditions for the development of the younger generation will always be in the priority of the state. I wish everyone good health and success!” – wrote the president.
